The Privacy and Cookie Policy refers to the processing of data provided by the user, acquired when users navigate the website www.seletron.com (“Website”) or when they use the contact form through the website itself according to the European Regulation 2016/679 (“Regulation”).

2. CATEGORIES OF PROCESSED DATA AND PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

2.1 NAVIGATION DATA

In order to operate the Website, IT systems and software procedures acquire, during their normal operation, part of personal data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to identify interested parties, but if processed with other data held by third parties, allow the users’ identification. This data category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used to navigate the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the user's IT environment.

The legal basis that justify the data processing is the implementation of pre-contractual measures or the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.

b) MARKETING ACTIVITIES: sending communications of a commercial / promotional nature using traditional and / or digital and / or automated methods (e.g. by mail, email, SMS, etc.) related to products, services and events offered by the Owner. The provision of the user’s personal data is optional, however the Owner needs the explicit consent of the user in order to send commercial ads. The lack of the user’ s consent will make it impossible for the Data Controller to send commercial communications but the Owner can still use these data for the other purposes of this policy.

c) ONLINE PRODUCTS SALES: execute the sale contract, receive payment, ship the products, fulfill tax and accounting obligations, provide any after-sales services. Data processing involves the collection by the Data Controller of personal data (including company name, registered office and VAT number in the case of a legal entity), contact details (email address, phone number), shipping address, billing address (if different from the shipping address). This data is collected after the registration of a new account or when purchasing products as a "guest" (i.e. without a registered account).
The legal basis that justify the data processing is the execution of a contract ,or implementation of pre-contractual measures and the fulfillment of legal obligations of the State or the European Union. The requested data are necessary for the finalization of the sale contract and for the pursuit of the previous purposes.
The Data collected for this purpose will be kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and for 10 years after its termination. Payment services are managed by the STRIPE PAYMENT platform. d) REVIEWS: allow users to formulate and make public their comments and reviews regarding the products purchased and the service received. To leave a review, the user is requested to provide an email address that can be used to contact him if necessary. Users are responsible for the content of their comments.

5. DATA PROCESSING METHODS

The processing of the user’s personal data will be carried out according to the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency, to protect his privacy and his rights. The Owner also undertakes to process these data in accordance with the principle of "minimization", i.e. by acquiring and processing data only when necessary and with organizational and logical methods strictly related to compliance with the stated purposes. This data will be stored on computer media, on paper and on any other type of suitable support, in compliance with the Regulations, adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of the data.

6. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

The user has the right to request from the Data Controller:
• access to his data (Article 15 of the Regulation);
• the correction of data (Article 16);
• the deletion of data (Article 17);
• the limitation of treatment (art. 18).
He also has the right:
• to oppose the processing of data (art. 21);
• data portability (art. 20).
Finally, the user has the right to complain to the supervisory authority if he believes that there has been a violation of his data and has the right to revoke the consent given at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out before revocation.
